SHIPPING - CONSUMERS & AUTHORIZED DEALERS
Orders placed with California Heat are shipped within 2-3 business days. Once shipped, tracking information is sent to the email provided to us on the order. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you would like to have a signature required for your package or purchase shipping insurance, add the desired shipping upgrade during checkout. If you are an Authorized Dealer and would like one of these options, please contact us for rates after placing your online order.
Product ownership transfers to the customer upon shipping, therefore, we are not responsible for any carrier issues or related costs that are not the direct result of our negligence. California Heat will assist to the best of our ability, but filing claims with the carrier and rectifying any shipping issues is the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. These issues include but are not limited to:
• Carrier losing or damaging the package in transit;
• Packages stolen from the carrier or stolen once it arrives at its shipping destination; and
• Packages addressed to the location specified in the order, but delivered to the incorrect address.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
For heated clothing products purchased by a consumer directly through California Heat, our return & exchange policy is 30 days from the date of purchase with a receipt or proof of purchase.
For your convenience, we offer an extended return and exchange policy during the holiday season. Purchases made between November 7 and December 31 have an extended return period through January 14 of the following year.
For products purchased by a consumer through an Authorized Dealer or Retailer, please consult with the retailer on their individual return policies.
AUTHORIZED DEALERS & RETAILERS
For heated clothing products purchased by an Authorized Dealer/Reseller from California Heat, our return & exchange policy is 30 days from the consumer's date of purchase. We require proof of purchase, documentation of return & reason, and what troubleshooting was already performed on the product. Every item that can be repaired will be repaired. California Heat will not replace a product when a repair is possible. Faulty products that are replaced by the Authorized Dealer, but are subject to repair, are not subject to credit. Always contact immediately to notify of issues with products.
For heated clothing products purchased by an Authorized Dealer/Reseller from a California Heat Distributor, contact your distributor for processing the claim. If you speak with your account representative and still have any questions, contact us directly at .
Any technical issues with an item outside of the 30 day return window will be considered a warranty claim. To file a warranty claim, the consumer must submit the Warranty Claim Form located at the bottom of the Warranty Forms Page.
BELOW POLICIES & PROCEDURES ARE APPLICABLE TO BOTH CONSUMERS & AUTHORIZED DEALERS
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must be unworn, with tags and in the original packaging. To process a return/exchange for items purchased directly from California Heat, please fill out the below Returns & Exchanges Form. Requests are typically processed within 48 business hours of receipt. For additional questions, email email@example.com.
We will only exchange/replace items if they are defective, damaged, or the incorrect size. If a consumer exchange is needed due to sizing and the incorrect size was communicated & shipped by a representative from California Heat, we will cover the round-trip shipping costs for the consumer.
Once given the approval for a return or exchange, we will provide you with a RMA # and return shipping address.
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, Consumer or Authorized Dealer, unless the exchange or return are explicitly due to incorrect information or a sizing recommendation communicated directly by a California Heat representative.
For products over $50 we strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for any products we do not receive due to carrier negligence and issues.
Once your product is received and inspected to confirm it follows the terms noted above, you will be notified & we will promptly process your refund or exchange. Refunds are processed using the same method as the initial purchase.
For Authorized Dealers, refunds are processed as a credit on your account.
